This is extraordinary. And as she is honored with a bronze statue at the U.S. Capitol, what is overlooked is her commitment to women's suffrage, pacifism, workers' rights, and many progressive causes. Whether these ideas are learned or inherent in the human heart is up for debate. I tend to believe it comes from the heart.
